Central Coast Grammar School - Art Precinct

COWYN has completed the new Arts Precinct at Central Coast Grammar School under a Design and Construct contract, with the Occupation Certificate received and the facility now in use by staff and students.

Designed by Space Design Architecture, the purpose-built, two-level facility provides a contemporary home for the school’s visual arts program. The precinct includes six dedicated art studios, multiple art storage areas, a photography studio, kiln room, staff facilities and flexible multipurpose learning spaces. The building also incorporates specialist joinery, art troughs, tiered seating, breakout areas and dedicated support spaces, creating practical and flexible environments for students and staff.

Delivered within an operational school environment and completed within 12 months on site, the project required close coordination across design, construction, stakeholder management and commissioning to maintain safety, minimise disruption and achieve the required programme.

The successful delivery of the Arts Precinct reflects the commitment, professionalism and collaborative approach of Central Coast Grammar School, TCB Project Management, Space Design Architecture, the wider consultant team, our subcontractors and the COWYN project team. The completed facility will support creativity, learning and artistic development within the Central Coast Grammar School community for many years to come.
