Established in 1954 as a small family operated building company under the name of H M Cohen, COWYN Building Group has developed over three generations into a dynamic family owned and operated construction company delivering quality projects ranging in value up to $15 Million in Commercial, Education, Aged Care, Health & Community Sectors 

Servicing Sydney, Newcastle and the Central and South Coast regions of NSW, COWYN prides itself on the delivery of every project under the direct supervision of a working Director. It is this direct supervision that ensures outstanding outcomes are consistently delivered in accordance with our strict WHS & QA standards.

90% of our work is for regular and repeat clientele and our record in the delivery of first-class projects is demonstrated through receipt of multiple Master Builders Association of NSW Construction Excellence Awards including the past eight consecutive years.

At the core of our long term and committed team is our cadet and apprenticeship program. Our annual intake invests into our team for the future and 70% of our current long serving staff commenced with COWYN as apprentices or cadets. It is these long serving project managers, foremen and tradesmen that repeatedly deliver projects within programme and budget.
