Eileen O'Connor Catholic College is a K-12 school that provides a quality education for young people with a moderate intellectual disability. Block B was originally constructed in 1906 as St Thomas School and had experienced multiple additions and alterations until it ceased operating as an education facility for the School in the 2010's. The building was in a state of extensive dilapidation upon commencement of the extensive refurbishment works.

The project scope involved detailed demolition of the 1950's extension and fire stair, replacement of slate roof, stripping of lead paint from internal and external finishes, extensive masonry conservation and repairs; construction of new glazed awning to enhance natural light at the kiss & drop zone; replacement of timber flooring and structure, installation of new 2 storey lift and general refurbishment to provide a new administration centre for staff, collaborative workspaces, staff collegial and seminar presentation areas and associated works to the adjacent Block C Building.
