Engaged under D+C Contract, COWYN worked collaboratively with Sydney Catholic Schools, CTPG and the consultant team to deliver the Alterations & Additions project at Good Samaritan Catholic College inclusive of the following:
Extensive demolition including removal of the existing roof to Block T
Construction of additional level with over 2,000m2 floor area over the existing Block T to create general learning areas (GLAs), breakout spaces, multifunctional and collaboration areas, new stairs, a new lift and amenities
Construction of a new learning bridge with undercroft connecting Block T and Block C
Construction of new first floor within existing Block C to create and additional 3 GLAs
Ancillary site works
COWYN embarked on an extensive cost engineering process prior to commencement to realise savings in excess of $1.5 Million which enabled delivery of the project within budget and programme for its valued and long standing Client.
