COWYN were engaged by Knox Grammar School in May 2019 to construct a new mezzanine level within an existing 2-storey atrium and a new external glazed stair tower to provide additional floor space to the Kindergarten - Year 2 Building and improve access and egress.
Given the nature of works and building occupants, COWYN were permitted to undertake work during School Holiday periods only. Significant planning was required to deliver the project over holiday periods of 3 weeks (July), 2 weeks (September/October) and 3 weeks (December)
The project was delivered smoothly and ahead of schedule for our valued client Knox Grammar School.
