Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary School, Greystanes

Delivered under a Novated Design & Construct contract for Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese, with Figtree Project Management acting as Project Manager, this project involved the design finalisation and construction of a new multi-purpose hall at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Primary School.

The facility comprises a flexible assembly and performance space, commercial kitchen, amenities, withdrawal spaces and associated external works. Delivered within a live operating primary school, the project required close coordination of the consultant team, careful staging and proactive stakeholder management to maintain uninterrupted school operations while ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of the works. The completed facility provides a contemporary, versatile space that supports teaching, assemblies, sport, performances and wider community use

COWYN Building Group have delivered the new multipurpose hall at Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary School, Greystanes under a Design & Construct The project comprised the demolition of the existing covered outdoor learning area (COLA) structure, and the construction of a new facility integrating a full-sized basketball court, a quiet/reflection space, commercial-grade kitchen, amenities block, administrative office, storage facilities and associated landscaping and site works.

The new hall has been designed and executed to provide the school community with a flexible, high-quality facility that supports physical education, community functions and student wellbeing. With careful coordination of design, programming and construction to minimise disruption to the school’s operations, the finished asset delivers durability, functionality and visual cohesion.
