COWYN were engaged by Sydney Catholic Schools under Lump Sum Contract in October 2019 to complete a detailed and staged refurbishment of the existing TAS Facilities across Levels 3 & 4 at St Mary’s Cathedral College, Sydney
The first stage involving the refurbishment of existing classrooms to form new Food Technology, Food Prep, Mixed Workshop & GLA facilities was completed throughout Term 4 and the 2019 Christmas Holiday Period.
COWYN returned to site in late 2020 to undertake stage two works similarly throughout Term 4 and the 2020 Christmas Holiday Period which involved the fitout of new Timber Workshops, Machine Room, Graphics Room, GLAs & Sports Store.
To challenge the team even further, midway throughout 2020 COWYN were awarded a Lump Sum Contract for a complete air conditioning upgrade throughout Levels 3, 4 & 5 of the College, replacement of glazed external windows and associated works. Access was obtained early December 2020 and with meticulous planning, all works were delivered seamlessly ahead of the 2021 School Year.
